What are the benefits of volunteering?

  • There are many!!

  • It’s a rewarding experience!!  A few hours of your time can put back thousands of dollars in the hands of people who really need it!

  • It’s time limited!  You only volunteer for 2 ½ months and then you’re done!

  • You get to learn a new skill or “sharpen” an existing one!  You will learn about tax law, learn new software, and have a great time doing it!

  • You get YOUR taxes done for free!  All volunteers are eligible to prepare and efile their return for free at our clinics, regardless of their income!!

  • IT’S FUN!  We have great groups of volunteers who get excited about providing this service, challenging each other, and who come back year after year!
