Case Management:
- Coordination of services with other providers to ensure provision of basic needs.
- Life skills and problem solving skills development.
- Basic self reliance and crisis management skills.
- Money management education utilizing the "$ Works" program.
- Provision of culturally appropriate services.
Transitional Housing Services:
- For homeless or those at risk of homelessness (i.e. eviction notice, inappropriately doubled up with friends or families, or leaving domestic abuse).
- Assistance in locating suitable housing.
- Tenant rights and responsibilities.
- Rental and mortgage foreclosure assistance.
- Advocacy with landlords and property managers.
Family Assets for Independence in Minnesota
- The FAIM Project assists working poor Minnesotans to build assets and increase wealth.
- Building assets as well as increasing income is the surest means toward long-term economic self-sufficiency.
- Individual Development accounts are matched savings accounts that assist participants build assets.
- Participants save earned income each month that is matched at a three to one rate, maximum match is $40 per month.
