Healthy Homes Grant
Program Description: Small Cities Development Program Grant funds are available to diagnose and mitigate indoor
air quality, lead paint, asbestos, radon and mold concerns for homes in an eleven county service area.
Counties included: Chippewa, Cottonwood, Jackson, Lincoln, Lyon, Murray, Nobles, Pipestone, Redwood, Rock,
and Yellow Medicine.
Eligible Properties: Owner Occupied homes that meet the 80% area median income.
Eligible Improvements: Energy efficiency, Health & Safety, accessibility, structural, roofing, siding,
windows, doors, plumbing repairs, electrical repairs, with an emphasis on air quality mitigation related
to mold, radon, lead and asbestos.
