Big Buddies Funding
Unfortunately, there is no Federal or State Department of Mentoring in which our funding comes from. The Big Buddies program operates under Western Community Action, has its own budget, and is responsible for its own funding. One year, funding may be available from one source and not the next. We are appreciative for everyone who has given to our programs throughout the years. Some of our most consistent and major funding sources have been: United Way of SW MN, Western Community Action, The REMICK Foundation, Bowl-A-Thon, The Schwan Food Company, County Collaboratives, Community Foundations and Funds, USBancorp, Cans-for-Kids, other fundraisers, as well as individuals.

Before you make a contribution to support youth through the Big Buddies of Western Community Action, ask your employer if they have a matching gift policy. Some workplaces support their employees by matching contributions of your choice!
