Big Buddies Events
Tuesday, May 18th:
From 5:30-6:30 PM is a Big Buddies Advisory Board Meeting at the Jackson WCA office. Arrive at 5:00 PM if you would like to enjoy supper with Circles of Support.
Tuesday, June 8th:
Piggy Bank Activity from 9:30-11:00 AM at the Jackson WCA office. Learn about spending and saving your money and then paint your own ceramic piggy bank to take home. Wear old clothing!
Thursday, June 10th:
Bingo at the Jackson Good Samaritan Center from 6:30-8:00 PM. Please come and help the residents play.
Saturday, June 12th:
Riverfest in Windom. Big Buddies plans to offer an activity. Volunteers are needed.
Monday, June 14th:
An outdoor skills activity at Robertson Park outside of Jackson from 10:30 AM-1:30 PM. We will be cooking over a campfire and learning about building shelters and surviving outdoors.
Tuesday, June 15th:
Advisory Board meeting from 5:30-6:30 PM at Godfather’s Pizza in Windom.
Thursday, June 17th:
Franks-A-Lot in Downtown Jackson from 5:00-8:00 PM. Big Buddies plans to offer an activity. Volunteers will be needed.
Friday, June 18th:
Big Buddies night at Murray County Speedway. Big Buddies who are willing to transport some Little Buddies are needed. Contact Hannah if you are willing to assist. Exact times will be determined as the event approaches, but we will not return to Jackson until after 10:30 PM.
Thursday, June 24th:
Creative Craft Corner at the Jackson Library. Transportation will be provided to the library, if needed. Join us from 10:30-11:30 AM in making a craft. All ages welcome!
Saturday, August 7th:
Big Buddies Night at the Jackson Speedway.
Saturday, September 11th:
Kite Fly at the Jackson Airport and Fort Belmont Rendezvous.
